The Nerdy Bookworm Tag

Ahhhhhh…books.

You gotta love ‘em. The smell of paper. The feel of the cover. And the story within the pages.

Welcome to the Nerd Bookworm tag in which I was nominated by the Arbitrary Fairy.

Bookworm question #1:
What is your favorite book(s) of all time?
The Wingfeather Saga: North! Or Be Eaten.

Boom. Isn’t that cover just epic? I was so in love with this book. The characters became more lovable and the plot built even more, all leading to the climatic ending in book four.

Bookworm question #2:
What’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to people handling books?

What I really hate is bent/ripped pages. So annoying.

Bookworm question #3:
In your opinion, how big does a book have to be for you to be intimidated to read it?

I don’t find length or size daunting. What I find intimidating is the style it’s written in. An older book with the old English writing style very much intimidates me.

I suppose that has nothing to do with size…oh well.

Bookworm question #4:
What’s your favorite book format? (Paperback, Hardcover, E-book, Audiobook, etc.)

Hardcover. Case closed.

Bookworm question #5:

What are the first things you do when you pick up a book?
Study the cover. Then read the excerpt. See if I recognize the author. And maybe check the date it was published.
