20 Questions Book Tag

Autumn is officially here. We’ve donned our sweaters and fluffy socks.

Today is Saturday. I have a new rabbit. Here’s a new tag. And I still haven’t finished that short story. I suppose autumn comes with a good dose of writer’s block, eh.

So while I devise our short story’s ending, here’s a tag. The 20 Questions Book Tag. Right up my alley.

01. How many books is to many in a series?

The Kid’s Left Behind has over 40 books in the series. I think that’s where I draw the line. Six book series are fun. Saga’s are cool because you get to say the word saga. 😛

02. How do you feel about cliffhangers?

Let’s take this question into account for a moment. If you are human you will love cliffhangers.

03. Hardcover or paperback?

While hardcovers have that old feel to it, paperbacks can be easer to read. I’m neutral.

04. Favourite book?

Definitely North! Or Be Eaten. There’s a cliffhanger for you.

05. Least favorite book

I read a lot of books. I couldn’t say I have a downright least favourite book. I’ve read too many to point a specific finger at.

6. Love triangles, yes or no?

I’m not much of a romance fan, I have to say, I haven’t read many books with love triangles. Correction. I don’t think I’ve read any books with love triangles.

7. The most recent book you couldn’t finish?

I usually try to finish books, but if they drag on and not much is happening or if it’s so descriptive you can’t enjoy the story, I stop. The most recent book I couldn’t finish (more like didn’t finish) was I believe 23rd Kids Left Behind book. This book, though based off of Revelation, was not written with the description required to make it exciting.

8. A book you are currently reading?

Just one? I’m currently reading three. One book that I am reading is Phantom of the Opera.

9. The last book you recommended to someone?

Chuck Black’s Kingdom Series.

10. The oldest book you’ve ever read (publication date)

The Bible. 😛

11. Newest book you’ve read? (publication date)

Maybe Wars of the Realm? I’m not sure. I actually haven’t finished them yet.

12. Favorite author?

Andrew Peterson, oh yeah!

13. Buying books or borrowing them?

Oooo…while borrowing books is cheap, buying books means you own it, and there’s no pressure to read it straight away.

14. A book you dislike that everyone seems to love?

Harry Potter? I’ve never read them but a lot of people seem to like them and I’ve been sceptical about them.

15. Bookmarks or dogears?

Dogears always! You can lose a bookmark but you can’t lose the corner of your page.

16. A book you can always read?

Starlight Animal Sanctuary. I love that series. I’ve read it a few times.

17. Can you read while listening to music?

Not usually. Maybe if it’s in the background.

18. One POV or multiple POVs?

Definitely multiple POVs!

19. Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?

Depends on the book. If it’s gripping, I can read it all at once. If it’s not so, or if it’s a big book, I like to read it over multiple days.

20. Who do you tag?

Tag yourself. Go on. 😁

So now you know about my opinion on books. I am a bookworm though I can stretch reading a book over months. I love second hand bookstores. I love full bookshelves. I don’t understand those who do not like reading.

So again, feel free to tag yourself and have great day!
